That is one of the biggest questions I still get from newbies on the internet, and I had to start asking them….

WHY NOT?

The answers I keep getting are:

• I don’t have any experience
• I don’t know what to talk about.
• Where can I find material for my ezine?
• Will others really want to read what I have to say?

So I must now write about those comments and questions. If you are trying to run a business on the internet then you MUST have a clue about what you are going to be marketing or you will fail miserably. So my friend that is the answer to the top 3 all in one little sentence.

Now to go into depth about that answer. If you’ve been reading my blog you will notice that several of the first articles were on how to create a niche marketing business model. By choosing a niche that you are passionate about you will find it much easier to market the business.

The same goes for writing articles and emails for your ezine/newsletter. The more you have to talk about the better off you’ll be. For instance, I can’t even imagine sitting down and choosing to market Brake Pads. Only a mechanically minded person would be able to do that. I wouldn’t even dream of sitting down and choosing the Quilting niche either. I can crochet a straight line around the world and back but I can’t for the life of me figure out how to turn around and come back down that straight line.

So I would fail miserably trying to market in the Quilting niche. How bout gardening? Could you market gardening products?  I could market the products but I couldn’t write about it effectively so I’d fail at that one.. and I have failed at it miserably! I just didn’t have enough “inspiration/motivation” to continue to write about something that I wasn’t good at.

Affiliate marketing is the niche I have chosen! WHY? Because I have spent the past 10 years learning how to market OTHER people’s products and I do it fairly well. I love to help others is another reason why I have chosen this niche. I can teach you as my readers what to do in your business to make it successful. Even if you are NOT in the “how to make money online” niche. That is the coolest part about what I do.

I can effectively show you the people and the places to go get products YOU need to market and articles you need for your business to make it a success. There’s actually nothing better for me to be doing than to help others while helping myself. It’s a win/win situation.

If you also choose a niche that YOU are passionate about YOU will succeed as well and YOU will be able to write and publish an ezine that is worth reading. Your customers/readers will appreciate your expertise and your knowledge as we each have our own ways of looking at things.

It still amazes me even as I’m writing this how much I have learned over the past 10 years and now I’m getting to share it with another round of beginners. It’s a great feeling being able to share what I’ve learned and pass it forward to others so that they can become successful just as I have.

SO take your expertise and share it with your target niche and become someone else’s tutor, just as you have been tutored by others.
