How to Find Good Vendors

One of the hardest things for me at first was finding reputable affiliate programs to promote. You are told by all the “gurus” to go to Clickbank and get affiliate products to promote.. but you know what.. I find it difficult to promote through there..

WHY?

Because, for me to promote something, I have to have:

paid for it
read/used it
then benefited from it

Without these factors in place I feel like I am lying to the customer that I am trying to promote to. To purchase everything that I’m going to promote would be very uneconomical for me!

So I decided to only promote a handful of products/services at first. Then I realized that if I chose “private” individuals to market it’s easier.. because I know if I have benefited from ONE of their products that I can honestly promote that person’s products. Most of the time that person will continue to put together very valuable products that my customers can benefit from.

If you are new to affiliate marketing, I suggest that you choose your products wisely and start off with one/two products that you have gained value from then add to your promotions as you start reaping the profits from the first one/two products.
