Why Provide Value To Your Customers

Some people are showing you how to do things in marketing that I don’t feel is right!
What these people are teaching you to do is use “template” articles in your marketing. They call them Private Label Rights Articles.. and you can pay anywhere from $0-97 for a “niche pack” of these articles.
What you don’t realize is these same articles are sold to literally thousands of other people and/or are so old there are already thousands of sites on the net with these same articles in them.
This leads to many different problems:
- You are not using new content thus rehashing old material.
- You don’t rank well in SE’s or you lose ranking because of rehashing content.
- You don’t provide any “NEW” information to your customers, thus losing readers.
This my friends is something that I’ve learned the hard way over my 10 years online. Just like you I was new to this whole business model and I was trying to “look” professional and look like I knew what I was talking about.
I felt though like I wasn’t smart enough or good enough to write my own articles and content for this same blog. So I started piling it with rehashed articles that everyone else was using.. and my rankings in the SE’s went from 5/10 down to 2. You can check the ranking right now and it’s still at a 2/10 because of this, and a hacker crashing me in Dec. 2007.
Yep I’m rebuilding from scratch with all NEW content that I am personally writing to make a difference to you my reader.
I do practice what I preach. I will however take other articles and use bits and pieces of GOOD solid information to expand on my own articles.
To me writing for my blog is like back in school when we had to write book reports for our teachers. You take information from all over the place and you put it all into one or more niche targeted articles for your blog or your website, or your own ebook or report.
Does this constitute Copyright infringement.. NO.. you are only using the IDEAS not the content. If you put the information into your own words, into your own style then you are doing nothing more than sharing your own interpretation of the material.
By doing this you are providing your own value to your customers, you are enabled to really draw your customer into your content and enable them to see how YOU do whatever you’re teaching them to do.
I am using this same technique right now in creating this article. I’m using my experiences and my own lessons learned to help you, not to make that same mistake in the future of your business endeavors.
So… do yourself and your customers a favor and WRITE YOURSELF … show your own uniqueness, whether you are a “true” expert or not doesn’t matter, you are going to be the expert of YOU.. and no one else can be that but you.
Take for instance, Paula Deen, what is her “signature” I know you know what it is… it’s her Southern Accent and her YA’LL …..
Put your own signature on your stuff, use your gifts, talents, and maybe even your blunders to use in teaching your readers, and provide true value to them, not rehashed information!
