I’m often asked the question of “How Do I Use Facebook For My Business?”

To tell you the truth I thought I knew a bunch about Facebook till I met Mari Smith.. wow has she got it going on as far as Facebook and Twitter go.

She has set up a site called WHY FACEBOOK?

It’s all about why you need to be using Facebook to help expand your business horizons.

Personally I use Facebook so that I can create a Group… within this group I can build a network of literally thousands of people who have the same interests as I do or they wouldn’t be a subscriber. Then I have the ability as the group owner to email each member of the group without complaints of spamming.

This enables me to not only educate an entire group of people it also allows me the chance to market to a larger group of people all at once. It’s kinda like list building on steroids.

You have a highly targeted group of people all wanting to know what you have to say. It helps with your credibility as well as your reader base. It also allows for interaction between you and the group. You get to ask them questions and get almost immediate responses on what they want to hear/read vs. what they don’t want.

You also have an open canvus of teaching capabilities that are mutually accepted by the entire group. It’s a fantastic way to communicate.

On top of all that you have what I call a mini blog right inside Facebook. Something I still see many business owners not taking advantage of!!

Yep.. it’s a little mini blog capable of creating massive traffic to your site if you use it!

I’ve actually made some killer sales of affiliate products through FB Notes!

How do I know that’s where the traffic came from?

That’s the ONLY PLACE I posted my advertisement! Of course, I have over 1000 friends and gain 2-5 new ones per day totally hands off. I mean.. if I really started asking for friends I’d already have the limit of 5000 but you know what… I don’t have time! So I let the friends come to me!

Take my word for it.. Facebook is a great way to market your business and if you do it right you can network with some of the biggest names on the net and get all the advice you want for free… all you have to do is ask the right questions and be willing to wait for the answers!
