Definition of introduce: To begin… synonym Initiate.

Definition of Initiate: To cause to begin. To introduce…

Why in the world am I starting off with the definitions? Well because you really need to fully understand the meaning of the words that we’re going to be discussing that have to do with Public Speaking before I can logically link them to Online marketing.. and writing.

Whether you are introducing a new person, or idea to another you have to introduce them thoroughly and without losing the interest of the person you are speaking or writing to.

So what do online marketers do to introduce their topic on their websites?

They hit you with a headline like this…

WHO ELSE WANTS TO….

They do this so that they get your attention. They plaster the top 1/4 of their webpage with their INTRODUCTION (header) They make big promises, getting the attention of all the readers of the website.

Just as in the introduction in a public talk. You are trying to get the interest of the audience you are talking to. You might start out with an illustration or some statistics to get the interest of the audience.

This is a necessity if you are going to keep the interest of those people who visit your site. You must get their attention in 3 seconds or less or you’re going to lose that persons attention… and they may or may not ever return to your site at a later date.

So how do you do it without looking like a cookie cutter heading?

How do you do it without making your heading too full of hype?

Personally I try to stick with the facts as I have actually gained from the information. Whether I’m promoting an ebook or a physical product that I am an affiliate of… whether it be online marketing stuff or a soap. I always use the product first! I’ll read the ebook or I’ll use the soap… Then based on the success that I’ve had then I am able to write an honest headline that will gain the attention of my readers without seeming to be dishonest or hype driven.

This is also relevant for those of you who are using videos in your marketing. Have you ever started watching a movie that wouldn’t get into the plot very quickly? I can’t stand that… the movie better get to a point very quickly or I’ll turn it off. The same way with our marketing videos. If we don’t get to the point of the video very fast we’ll lose our audience. There are still so many on dialup that we have to be REALLY fast and with the time limits that some of the uploading sites give us of 4min videos and such you better get to the point within the first few seconds that way the entire message can be brought to the customer in that one video.

Public Speaking What Does it Have to do With Marketing?

I really appreciate the fact that I was taught from a young age how to speak in a public forum. It’s now been over 20 years since I started public speaking. I think the first time I was around 6-8 years old. I always excelled in it in High School my teachers wondered why I was so good at it and loved it so much. I just had to tell them…

“I’m actually not like most people (duh you might be saying LOL).”

Anyway.. I LOVE public speaking. I love the interaction between you and the audience… if you are doing your job correctly anyway. Yes I’m a little nervous at first but after I get into the material that I’ve prepared that goes away and it becomes a natural conversation to me. Most of the time I don’t even use notes. If and when I do I use an outline only to remember the main points that I want to get across in my speaking assignment.

Now what does all of this have to do with Marketing? Specifically Affiliate marketing and online marketing?

I really hadn’t pondered the thought until I was trying to figure out what to bring you as my reader in this next set of articles. You see I write my articles 2 weeks in advance. That way I have more time to home school my girls and be a Vol. firefighter. With my plate as full as it is… I always schedule time in to write and I know that every Saturday and Sunday afternoon that is what I’ll be doing.

Anyway… I’m writing this one to lay the foundation of what is to come. I’m going to cover a few qualities for Public Speaking and I’m going to tie those into marketing methods that we use today in online marketing. I will start out with the definition of each word as it is given in Websters. That way we lay the foundation of each word.

Then I’m going to show you that these same qualities do need to be interwoven into Video Marketing and copy writing techniques to get your message across to your customers without too much HYPE, or boring them to tears.

Four Famous Entrepreneurs on the Internet Today

Those individuals who are still new to world of business will definitely want to meet or at least know of the expert entrepreneurs. Oftentimes, these experts or masters serve as the guide and inspiration of beginners. There are so many names of famous entrepreneurs if you try to surf the internet. With one click, you will be able to find a link to these famous names.

It would be a great privilege especially for entrepreneur starters to get to know the masters of entrepreneurship. If you have the time, try to search the internet and check if there are boot-camps being held exclusively for entrepreneurs. Usually, famous entrepreneurs drop in on the said boot-camps to share their knowledge in the field.

Well anyway, if you want to know some big names in the business world, here are some of them:

• Yanik Silver – if you want to become an internet marketer, you must get to know this person right away. This entrepreneur is a brilliant marketer online and has earned millions of dollars even before he was 30.

• Ted Nicholas – this man became a millionaire as a copywriter and master author. There are thousands of business opportunities online and if you want to become an internet entrepreneur, why don’t you try copywriting or writing eBooks.

• Derek Gehl – he was the partner of Cory Rudl (who passed June 2, 2005; the day before my 11th wedding anniversary, and just after he got married) in running the Internet Marketing Center. Just like the first three famous names mentioned, this guy is also a certified multi millionaire.

• Armand Morin – this man is also a multi millionaire and if you want to know more about him try to conduct a search by typing his name on a search engine.
These are just four of the big and famous names of entrepreneurs that you can find online. They have earned their share of huge profits. It seems that more and more entrepreneurs are now doing business online. One evident reason is that an online entrepreneurial business requires smaller capital but you get to earn huge money.

These famous entrepreneurs are open, honest, nice people, and they are comfortable sharing their techniques and ideas which also helped them to succeed. If you too are confident with what you’re doing, you may become a famous and rich entrepreneur sooner than you think.

According to these entrepreneurs, if you want to earn big money, you have to be present online because there are so many ways of succeeding through the internet. If you can master the internet’s key structures and make it work for your online business, then you will also succeed someday. You can expect immense returns. One very important thing that you have to remember as an entrepreneur – words are powerful. If you can put words together in the right manner, it will be one of the keys to success.

The business world is full of struggles and extreme competition. You must always be strong and hard working despite all the adversities you may encounter. If you want to enjoy staggering success, you have to try and work even harder.

Look up to the names of famous entrepreneurs and aspire to become one of them. Who knows, in due time you will also be among the expert entrepreneurs and become popular worldwide. Start working your way to an entrepreneurial business online now.

Boost Your Entrepreneur Profit through Effective Steps

A successful entrepreneurial business has many parts but it always begins with the understanding of why you do such work. Aside from that, as an entrepreneur you should also understand the people you serve, their struggles, and the difference that your business will bring to their lives.

You also have to reach your clients in such a way as to make them fervent to do business with someone like you. The most important thing is to be able to manage your energy so that you can do your work effectively and earn great profits.

If you want profit to consistently flow to your business venture, here are the necessary steps that you need to take:

• You have to make it clear to everybody what you’re doing and why you are doing it. You should avoid mistakes as much as possible. Everything and everyone has a certain purpose. As an entrepreneur, you’re considered a “unique” individual. If you can clarify this to yourself, you will feel a surge of energy and enthusiasm. These things can attract prospective clients. Everything you do now is like a magnet that attracts energy.

• The next thing that you have to do in order to earn great profits is to establish your market. You should have an exact target for your products or services. You have to study the qualities of your customers so that you can make your own product or service stand out from your competitors.

• You should make use of every marketing material that you have to craft a significant message to your customers. You have to communicate with them honestly and authentically. Everything you do should be rooted in truthfulness and reliability. By doing this, you will attract more clients. With your energy, people will be drawn to you.

• Some entrepreneurs fail because of doubt and fear. They hesitate to take some risks involved in the business. They doubt their abilities and skills. This is a barrier that you should be able to knock down otherwise clients will shy away from you.

• The next thing is to organize your schedules. Prioritize… your business obligations and responsibilities should be done at the right time and at the right order. You have to manage your time effectively. If you can develop and master this skill, it will mean more clients and definitely, more money.

• You have to have the right system for your business so that you can also have time away from work and be able to generate new ideas for other business ventures. You must have a system for your business operations, marketing, and offerings.

• Change is the only thing permanent in this world. You have to adjust your business ideas according to these changes. Try to see if the products or services you offer are still in demand.

• Some entrepreneurs live only for their business. They often forget about achieving the proper balance between personal and business life. You have to establish specific strategies so that you can enjoy your success in all aspects of your life.

I don’t have my own product, what can I sell?

What are YOU passionate about?

Now that I’ve asked that question, really think about the answer. Then take out a piece of paper and number it like this:

Top thing I’m passionate about
NEXT
NEXT
NEXT

Don’t put the text in there that I’ve shown you but you get the idea. You are going to put your PASSIONS into order from 1-whatever and in ORDER. Here’s an example of MINE on the left..

Now take that list and see if you could talk about that passion on a daily basis! Mark out all of them you couldn’t talk about daily… what you are looking for is something that makes your heart “sing” when you think about it…

You see there is no way I could write about my kids on a daily basis, nor home schooling them, would get bored with writing about fishing, and taking photos… so I’ve marked them out of my list of “business ideas”.

What I have left is my passions that I could and DO talk about and write about on a daily basis. I love being a firefighter, and have created a blog in that niche. I love online marketing thus you’re reading this blog which actually covers the other topics on my list of passions… see how easy it is to find YOUR niche?

Now.. when you find your niche… you need to take the following steps:

Go to http://www.google.com (or your favorite search engine) and look up your passions.
Once there Look at the top 10 sites in your passion…
Do they have affiliate programs? If so THERE IS PRODUCTS YOU CAN PROMOTE!

You see how easy it is to find products to promote?! One of the easiest things to do online today is to start a blog and start promoting other peoples products by becoming an affiliate marketer. This blog TOTALLY covers this and goes in depth in showing you how to become successful at it… and I’ll continue posting educational articles on this topic so your next step is to add this blog to your favorite blog reader and keep reading my posts, and educating yourself.
